POSITION SUMMARY:
A Front Office Manager is crucial in creating a positive and efficient guest experience. Effective communication, leadership skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Key job responsibilities:
Management of the Hotel’s Front Office operations following the company’s budget, directives and procedures, including:
- Maintain an excellent reception service and a high guest satisfaction rate.
- Daily follow-up of occupancy.
- Close cooperation with the Room Division Manager in order to achieve the occupancy & upselling revenue targets.
- Daily check and follow-up of F/O operation procedures.
- Ensure good coordination and communication within departments.
- Follow guest correspondence.
- Preparation of room allocation
- Preparation/control invoices for the accounts department.
- Promote in-house sales (terms upgrade, safe key, mini bar)
- Any other matter related to the maximization of financial and quality results of his/her department.
- Ensure the smooth running of IMS and H&S procedures.
Requirements:
- Hotel Management diploma.
- 3 years’ experience in the Hotel Industry in luxury property, as a Head Receptionist, or 5 years’ experience as a Receptionist. A Marriott experience will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of intercompany software. Word, Excel, Microsoft Office and the internet.
- Be trained and have relevant knowledge for implementation of the following management systems: ISO 9001, 14001, 22000& OSHAS
- Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage
- Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Excellent Management skills
- Good organisational skills
- Be able to motivate and train the staff.
- Good promotional and selling skills
- Sales and Marketing knowledge.
- Understands and follows budgeting as directed by the company.
- Excellent Supervision abilities
- Any other matter related to the maximization of financial and quality results of his/her department.
