APHI Aura, Rhodes, Autograph Collection seeks a motivated and spirited professional as a Front Office Manager to be the first smile, the lasting impression.

 POSITION SUMMARY:

A Front Office Manager is crucial in creating a positive and efficient guest experience. Effective communication, leadership skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Key job responsibilities:

Management of the Hotel’s Front Office operations following the company’s budget, directives and procedures, including:

  • Maintain an excellent reception service and a high guest satisfaction rate.
  • Daily follow-up of occupancy.
  • Close cooperation with the Room Division Manager in order to achieve the occupancy & upselling revenue targets.
  • Daily check and follow-up of F/O operation procedures.
  • Ensure good coordination and communication within departments.
  • Follow guest correspondence.
  • Preparation of room allocation
  • Preparation/control invoices for the accounts department.
  • Promote in-house sales (terms upgrade, safe key, mini bar)
  • Any other matter related to the maximization of financial and quality results of his/her department.
  • Ensure the smooth running of IMS and H&S procedures.

Requirements:

  • Hotel Management diploma.
  • 3 years’ experience in the Hotel Industry in luxury property, as a Head Receptionist, or 5 years’ experience as a Receptionist. A Marriott experience will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of intercompany software. Word, Excel, Microsoft Office and the internet.
  • Be trained and have relevant knowledge for implementation of the following management systems: ISO 9001, 14001, 22000& OSHAS
  • Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage
  • Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent Management skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Be able to motivate and train the staff.
  • Good promotional and selling skills
  • Sales and Marketing knowledge.
  • Understands and follows budgeting as directed by the company.
  • Excellent Supervision abilities
  • Any other matter related to the maximization of financial and quality results of his/her department.
