A 5star hotel is seeking to hire an experienced HR & Payroll Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, inspire, and guide the HR team, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, including talent acquisition, training and development, and employee records management.
  • Administer the internal payroll system with accuracy and timeliness, maintain comprehensive personnel files, and generate relevant reports.
  • Ensure timely submission of all required hiring documentation to the ERGANI system in compliance with national labor regulations.
  • Supervise the performance management cycle by guiding evaluators, monitoring timelines, and collecting appraisal data.
  • Provide strategic support to Heads of Departments in workforce scheduling and ensure compliance with attendance and time-tracking protocols.
  • Foster a culture of positivity, respect, and collaboration across the organization.
  • Handle sensitive and complex employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and adherence to the Group’s grievance protocols.
  • Monitor and enforce workplace health and safety practices, ensuring that all staff operate in a secure and legally compliant environment.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field is essential.
  • A Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, or Management is considered a strong asset.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in payroll operations within the hospitality sector is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Greek labor legislation, with proven ability to stay current with legal updates and changes.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong command of HRIS and payroll systems, including comprehensive knowledge of the ERGANI platform.
  • Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills; ability to thrive in a diverse, multinational work environment.
  • Emotionally intelligent, resilient, and adaptable—able to manage a variety of complex work situations.
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Calm under pressure and consistently professional in high-demand situations.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
