A luxury hotel business is seeking to hire an HR Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a respectful, people-first workplace culture where every team member, guest, and collaborator feels valued.
  • Nurture an inclusive, open, and psychologically safe work culture based on mutual trust, fairness, and honest dialogue.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of seasonal talent acquisition, from strategic planning with leadership teams to seamless onboarding experiences.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, offering a transparent, timely, and professional recruitment journey.
  • Build strong, responsive partnerships with recruitment agencies to meet evolving staffing needs with agility and precision.
  • Embed HR policies and procedures into the hotel's daily operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s culture and compliance standards.
  • Oversee the quality of life at staff accommodations—ensuring health, safety, and essential standards are consistently met in line with group expectations.
  • Plan, organize, and execute impactful onboarding and training initiatives during hotel pre-opening and throughout the season.
  • Proactively manage and mediate staff issues with discretion, empathy, and efficiency to maintain harmony in the workplace.
  • Detect capability gaps and drive training efforts that elevate frontline and supervisory competencies.
  • Supervise, guide, and quality-assure the learning programs delivered to operational staff and junior management.
  • Track individual performance and coach teams towards continuous improvement and goal achievement.
  • Coordinate and maintain a consistent performance review process that supports growth and accountability.
  • Enforce hotel standards and conduct codes with a firm but fair approach, ensuring consistency and professionalism at all levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A Master’s degree in HR or Management will be considered a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience in hospitality or seasonal resort operations;.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—able to engage, influence, and build trust across all levels.
  • Empathetic listener and confident mediator, capable of handling sensitive matters with discretion and fairness.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Solid understanding of labor law, HR compliance, and best practices in recruitment and performance management.
  • Passionate about people development, learning, and talent growth.
  • Culturally aware and inclusive, with the ability to foster belonging in diverse teams.
  • Tech-savvy and confident in using HR software and digital tools for recruitment, training, and performance tracking.
