Πλήρης απασχόλησηA luxury hotel has now opened a new Maintenance Manager position and is looking for experienced candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management of the maintenance team, including technicians, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC specialists.
- Organize and monitor daily work schedules and annual leave planning, ensuring alignment with operational needs, budget constraints, and legal frameworks.
- Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of the hotel’s infrastructure—including building structure, mechanical systems, electrical installations, HVAC equipment, and related facilities.
- Coordinate and supervise the installation, commissioning, and quality control of new equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards and specifications.
- Implement and manage a proactive preventive maintenance program, aiming for minimal equipment downtime and optimal operational reliability.
- Respond to and resolve minor equipment failures and breakdowns, while ensuring prompt repair actions are taken.
- Monitor, prioritize, and ensure timely completion of all maintenance work orders, service requests, and special projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, public areas, and guest zones to maintain safety, functionality, and aesthetic standards.
- Ensure maintenance services are delivered efficiently to other departments and guest areas, as required.
- Manage the inventory of tools, spare parts, and technical equipment to ensure sufficient stock availability and cost-effective usage.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant safety codes, local and national regulations, QA/QC procedures, and performance standards; secure and maintain required certifications.
- Handle negotiations, contracts, and invoice verifications for external maintenance service providers.
- Lead the Maintenance Quality Assurance Program and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
- Track utility consumption across the property and recommend energy-saving or cost-optimization measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar maintenance leadership role, preferably within a large-scale hotel or resort.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, as well as building maintenance and structural integrity.
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance systems and project coordination.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with a hands-on approach and results-oriented mindset.
- Competence in planning, scheduling, and monitoring engineering tasks to ensure timely and quality completion.
- Excellent problem-solving ability, particularly in troubleshooting and resolving technical faults or equipment issues.
- Familiarity with local, regional, and national laws, health and safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance-related software for reporting and data analysis.
- Budget management experience, including cost control, resource allocation, and contract oversight.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices for maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Experience in tracking energy and utility consumption and recommending sustainability improvements.
