Sandblu Resort is currently in search of:  Laundry Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the laundry department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
• Supervise and train laundry staff, ensuring they adhere to established procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor the washing, drying, ironing, and folding of linens, uniforms, and guest laundry to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and equipment, reporting shortages and ordering replacements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Inspect laundry equipment regularly and coordinate maintenance or repairs as necessary.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints related to laundry services with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry operations, including inventory, maintenance, and staff schedules.
• Implement and monitor cost-control measures to optimize laundry operations.

Qualifications / Experience

• Previous experience as a Laundry Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (preferred but not essential).
• Strong knowledge of laundry operations, equipment, and cleaning techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English.
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
