Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dishwashing areas, and storage spaces.
• Wash, sanitize, and store all kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes efficiently.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with resort policies.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to supervisors.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Support the kitchen team during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, countertops, and kitchen equipment regularly.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the kitchen or management team.

Qualifications / Experience

• Previous experience as a Steward or in a similar role in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting. (preferred but not essential).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
