Blu is the natural culinary extension of Sandblu, Santorini’s newest ultra-luxury resort. Designed for those who seek experiences that are curated, soulful, and deeply connected to their surroundings, Sandblu redefines “quiet luxury.”

Blu reflects the same philosophy, translating it into a sensory dining journey high above the caldera. Together, they form a seamless microcosmos of elevated hospitality, where every detail is intentional, and every moment is designed to be felt.

Blu offers an all-day dining experience that includes brunch, and dinner, with a focus on high-end fusion cuisine, premium cuts, sustainable and locally sourced ingredients, and globally inspired culinary craftsmanship. The setting blends high-end elegance with relaxed sophistication, accompanied by a resident DJ who curates soulful sounds to complement the views, the ambiance, and the food.

Blu Restaurant in Imerovigli is currently in search of: Demi Chef De Partie

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes according to the resort’s recipes and standards.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
  • Assist with the preparation of ingredients and mise en place for daily service.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure availability of ingredients.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials.
  • Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of special events and banquets.
  • Maintain accurate records of food production and wastage.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting. (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation.
  • A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with ease.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
