About the Role:

The F&B Service Manager ensures high-quality service and hygiene standards across all restaurant and bar areas. This role ensures a flawless dining experience, maximizes guest satisfaction, and drives revenue growth while optimizing costs. Leading a dynamic team, the manager upholds excellence in daily operations and service quality. You will oversee our diverse F&B operations, including a bustling breakfast service, a relaxed lunch by the pool, and an elegant fine dining experience in the evening. Your role will be pivotal in managing restaurant bookings and ensuring seamless service at all times, while leading the F&B team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Supervise the F&B operations across different service periods – breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar service, and room service.
  • Restaurant Bookings: Manage reservations and actively participate in F&B service functions during peak times or staff shortages, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
  • Team Leadership & Training: Lead, motivate, train, guide, and supervise all F&B Service employees, ensuring high performance and efficient service delivery. Foster a work environment emphasizing empowerment, respect, and passion for service.
  • Ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are constantly followed and in the right way by all team members, aiming to achieve the highest guest satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of all menus to assist guests and guide the team. Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of all aspects of F&B.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all F&B areas are clean and safe, staff are well-groomed, and the culture of hospitality aligns with the hotel's high standards.
  • Monitoring guest satisfaction, addressing complaints, and ensuring timely resolution of any issues to maintain a high standard of service.
  • Feedback and Recovery: Address guest feedback effectively and implement service recovery procedures as needed.
  • Reinforcing and participating actively in up-selling and cross-selling within the F&B outlets in order to obtain the hotel’s financial goals.
  • Collaboration with Cost Control: Cooperate with the Cost Controller to ensure proper stock management and F&B orders and purchases, with active monitoring of wine inventory to support smooth operations and maintain costs in line with budgets.
  • Monitoring the smooth and accurate cashiering functions in all F&B service outlets.

 

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience in a similar position in a 5* boutique hotel..

Languages: Excellent command of Greek and English. Additional language skills are advantageous.

Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, people management and customer service skills.

Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of F&B operations, including fine dining service and beverage management. Wine certification is an additional advantage. Micros Knowledge.

Characteristics: A team player with a flexible approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
