Front Office Manager 

A hotel in Anavysos is seeking for a Front Office Manager. The ideal candidate will be a young professional with a passion for hospitality.

The Front Office Manager is responsible for ensuring operation of the apart hotel meets its standards

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that guests checking in and checking out are handled according to apart hotel standards and that their expectations are met on a day-to-day basis.
  • Assist guests with all check-in procedures, Issue room keys, and answer any questions they may have.
  • Take extra care to address any special needs of guests, or possible guest complaints
  • Provide highest service standards to our guests, welcome them in an exceptionally warm, polite, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Provide additional information to the guests that are tailored to their preferences.
  • Post the relevant charges to the appropriate account, to provide the itemized bills to the guests, and make sure that they are delivered promptly and are accurate.
  • Ensure guest information is updated and accurate at all times.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Ensure that all front office interior and exterior, as well as furniture and equipment, are always clean and well maintained.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory/manager role
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language. Additional languages will be considered a plus.
  • Good Computer Skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
  • POS knowledge
  • Hotel reservation software knowledge is required
  • Ability to give clear and concise instructions
  • Applicant must have strong interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Needs to be able to communicate and collaborate well with others
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Maintain tact and diplomacy in tough guest situations
  • Ability to converse in both Greek and English
  • Strong team player and able to work under pressure
  • Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality
