Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino is looking for Room Attendants (Καμαριέρες) to join our Housekeeping team, for season 2025.

About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Housekeeping Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece, the Room Attendant (Καμαριέρα) ensures occupied and vacant guestrooms are cleaned and maintained up to the Mandarin Oriental standards. The Room Attendant (Καμαριέρα) reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

As Room Attendant (Καμαριέρα), you will be responsible for the following duties: 

  • Remove all soiled linens and towels from guestrooms, and hand them over to Housemen or dispose in linen chute.
  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms' bathrooms, bathroom walls, bathtub, shower, water closet using the suggested chemicals. After cleaning, dry all areas, fixtures, and surfaces.
  • Arrange all toiletries straightened on a piece of cloth in occupied guestrooms.
  • Replenish all amenities and terry items.
  • Efficiently make beds to meet Mandarin Oriental appearance standards.
  • Arrange all clothing items in occupied guestrooms and fold them neatly.
  • Upkeep and clean guestrooms and bathrooms, including all inside windows and mirrors.
  • Remove all guestroom service trays from guestroom hallways.
  • Vacuum the guestrooms' carpets and wipe down furniture and baseboards.
  • Double check cleanliness of completed work area and placement of amenities in each complete guestroom.
  • Ensure to sign in and out for keys and hand-held device on a daily basis.
  • Hand over any special requests to the incoming shift leader or respective manager.
  • Report any suspicious person or item in the guest rooms/ corridors.
  • Recognize and report all missing, damaged or substandard furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Ensure that all electronic devices (television, remote controls, stereo, lamps, and telephones) are working properly.
  • Ensure all guestrooms assigned are completed, with correct status marked at the end of the day, including any information for input into guest history file.

As Room Attendant (Καμαριέρα), we expect from you:

  • EU passport or valid Residence Permit is mandatory in order to work in Greece.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a 5-star hotel environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience.
  • Basic housekeeping, chemical, linen and machinery knowledge is beneficial.
