SWOT Hospitality is seeking a dynamic

General Manager

for Porto Carras, a premier destination within our portfolio.

The General Manager will be responsible for the seamless operation and overall management of this luxurious resort property, ensuring that guests have an exceptional experience while meeting the financial goals of the hotel.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hotel operations, a positive and inspiring leadership style, and a commitment to service excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to guests, ensuring their stay is enjoyable, comfortable, and memorable.
  • Ensure all hotel policies and procedures related to personnel, security, cash handling, guest relations, and safety standards are followed diligently.
  • Regularly assess and enhance property standards and services to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and preserve our brand's image.
  • Manage the annual budget and capital expenditure plans for the resort.
  • Achieve established revenue and profit targets, balancing financial performance with quality guest service.
  • Prepare timely operational reports and results for the corporate office and owners.
  • Maintain a visible presence among guests and staff, fostering an inviting and approachable atmosphere.
  • Implement the brand’s service culture throughout the property.
  • Support team members in fulfilling their responsibilities and completing daily tasks.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

The General Manager must demonstrate the ability to perform each responsibility successfully. The requirements listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of two to three years of management experience in a hotel setting.
  • Strong background in hotel operations and financial management.
  • Exemplary leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of revenue management and profit/loss implications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Excellent guest relation skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all hotel staff levels.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills, including hotel management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Commitment to practicing safety standards consistently.
