In this job listing our focus is narrowing on our next Reception Agent. The ideal candidate will be a customer-oriented individual with a thorough understanding of the hospitality culture, ready to learn, try and achieve high standards in guest service.

The job objective is to be the point of contact to represent the hotel in front of our guests either over the phone or in person.

Responsibilities

• Welcome our guests in a positive and hospitable manner with an emphasis on a true client-first approach
• Perform the check-in and check-out procedures.
• Register our guests and collect the necessary information (phone number, dates of stay, etc.).
• Escorts guests to the room assigned by the reservations department upon arrival, and ensures the collection and delivery of luggage and equipment of guests arriving during his/her shift in an efficient and timely manner.
• Inspects the guest room and informs guests about the room's amenities (explanation of operation of devices such as safe box, TV, kettle, etc.)
• Checks and reconciles cash accounts at the end of the day.
• Completing all tasks at the end of the day and ensuring that other departments have done the same
• Performs electronic closing of the day, and prints all necessary financial statements.
• Assist our guests with thorough information to achieve their ambience in our hotel property.
• Inform all the hotel departments regarding the number of arrivals and departures, or any other information regarding the stay of our guests.
• Preserve a clean reception area ready to accommodate our guests.
• Answer any phone call and speak on behalf of the San Antonio Corfu Resort.
• Contribute to the team effort towards achieving high standards of both guest and employee satisfaction.
• Perform any other duty set by his/hers Reception Manager, under the condition that is suitable for the reservation agent position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Studies or Business Management. Candidates having other bachelor's degree diplomas will also be considered.
• Previous experience as Front Office Agents, Night Auditor, Guest Relation Officer or in similar positions will be considered a plus.
• Fluency in English, other language knowledge will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of Computer and MS Office applications
