SWOT Hospitality is looking for an

Accountant

to join our dynamic team in Kos. This role is essential in maintaining accurate accounting records and ensuring that all financial operations are managed efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have a solid background in accounting within the hospitality sector.

Main Duties

• Records and files operating expenses documents / cash inflows and outflows / fixed assets.
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Reconciles balances with suppliers.
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Ensures legislation is followed regarding all Hotel-related legal issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Minimum three years’ experience in an accounting role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Experience with luxury hotels or international hospitality groups is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and exceptional analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• High level of confidentiality and ethical approach to work.
