Εποχιακός/ήWavemaker Hospitality, the leading hotel company in Cyprus and Greece, is expanding its operations. We are looking for an experienced and talented individual Sous Chef to join the awarded-winning 5* Atlantica Hotels & Resorts in Rhodes and Kos islands for the summer season 2025.
Responsibilities
- Handle and portion ingredients according to recipe specifications and safety guidelines.
- Adhere to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
- Adjust recipes as needed to meet dietary restrictions or special requests.
- Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures throughout the cooking process.
- Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and restocking as needed.
- Ensure the culinary section adheres to all safety and health regulations
- Stay updated on culinary techniques and industry trends through continuous learning.
- Coordinate timing with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of all menu items.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Certificate in culinary arts
- Strong sense of culinary creativity with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles and food preparation standards
- Familiarity with a range of cooking and other kitchen equipment
- Excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for teamwork
