Workathlon is hiring an Event Manager on behalf of New Hotel in Athens.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, and social events.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure their expectations are met.
• Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Restaurant, housekeeping, F&B.) to ensure seamless event execution.
• Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during events.
• Continuously evaluate event success and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously.
• Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
