Aluma Hotels & Resorts are seeking to hire for its properties located in the heart of Athens:

 

Maintenance Manager

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Manager primarily will be responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our properties facilities. His/her duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures. The ideal candidate will have a great  understanding of maintenance machinery and equipment while assuring guest service standards are being applied consistently.

Scope:

  • Reports to General Manager
  • Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards
  • Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities
  • Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests
  • Plan and oversee renovations and construction
  • Act fast to resolve emergency issues
  • Find ways to reduce hotel operating costs and conserve energy
  • Supervise team of Maintenance Technicians
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
  • Maintain budgets, expenses and activity logs

 

Prerequisites:

  • Three or more years working experience in a similar role in the luxury hospitality sector (5* Hotels).
  • Degree / Diploma in engineering or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
