Position Overview
The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and building lasting relationships with corporate clients in both transient and group segments for the hotel. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales within the hospitality industry, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve corporate segment revenue targets for both transient and group corporate business.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth in both segments.
Business Development
Transient Corporate Business:
- Identify, target, and secure transient corporate accounts focusing on individual business travelers.
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiations with potential transient corporate clients.
Group Corporate Business:
- Identify, target, and secure group corporate accounts, including meetings, conferences, and corporate events.
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiations with potential group corporate clients.
- Develop and promote the hotel's facilities for events, meetings, and conferences.
Account Management
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing corporate clients in both transient and group segments.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
Collaboration and Coordination
Transient Corporate Business:
- Work closely with the Front Office and Reservations teams to ensure seamless service delivery to transient corporate clients.
Group Corporate Business:
- Coordinate with the Conference Services, Food & Beverage, and Events teams to ensure seamless planning and execution of corporate events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeted at group corporate clients.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, including forecasts, revenue performance, and market analysis for both transient and group corporate segments.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust as needed.
- Use relative software to track sales activities and client interactions for both segments.
