Responsibilities:

Monitoring employees to ensure performance expectations are met

Assists in supervising daily shift operations

Supervising restaurant and all related areas

Participating in department meetings
-
Communicating to Chef any issues regarding food quality and service levels

Assists in ensuring compliance with all restaurant policies, standards, and procedures

Assists in achieving or exceeding budgeted goals
-
Performing all duties of restaurant employees and related departments as necessary

Opening and closing restaurant shifts
-
Interacting with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels

Supervising staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met

Encouraging employees to provide excellent customer service within guidelines

Handling guest’s issues and complaints
-
Meeting and greeting guests
-
Supervising on-going training initiatives

Coaching employees regarding performance on an ongoing basis

Implementing Health and Safety Rules (HACCP)
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management
-
At least 1-2 years of restaurant management experience
-
Familiar with restaurant management software (POS)

Organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
-
Motivating, training, and developing skills

Customer-oriented approach

Target oriented
-
Excellent command of the English language. Additional knowledge of a second foreign language would be considered an asset (preferably Italian, French, German, or Russian)
