Head Waiter

Job Description:
The role: Is responsible to provide professional and customer focused service to the
guests, ensuring their stay will become a memorable experience.
job Responsibilities:
-Responsible for offering guests of the lounge bar an enjoyable, expertly served
beverage/dining experience.
-Must be comfortable discussing food and spirits, wine choices with guests in detail.
-Responsible for setting up tables, serving food and beverage to guests, and
clearing/cleaning tables.
-Provide an expertly served beverage or dining experience; anticipating the guests’
needs and as an expert on the menu options.

Job Requirements:
-Have sound knowledge of spirits, beers, wine, cocktails and coffee.
-Excellent communications skills with a good command of the English language,
both written and spoken
-Attention to detail and work in a fast paced, diverse work environment.
-Candidate should hold valid work authorization for the EU.
-Knowledge of a third language (i.e. German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish,
etc.) will be valued accordingly
-Degree in Hospitality/Tourism is highly desirable
-Very good knowledge of MS Office and of at least one PMS software (ie. Protel,)and P.O.S. systemMinimum 2 years’ experience as Waiter/ess in a 5* multicultural hotel environment
-Knowledge of fine dining service standards and procedures
-Proactive, able to work efficiently under pressure, to make decisions and come up
with effective solutions
-Hands-on approach, flexible, with a positive attitude
-Strong leadership and team-building skills
