Purchasing Manager for NOUS Santorini property will be based 7-8 months - on average- in Santorini, remaining 4 to 5 months of the year to be based in Donkey Hotels HQ in Athens

Position/role reports to Donkey Hotels Group Purchasing Manager

 The ideal candidate should:

  • Have previous experience in a similar purchasing (supervisory) role
  • Be ambitious, detail and goal oriented, self-driven & self-motivated
  • Have strong negotiation, communication & analytical skills
  • Follow up all outstanding issues, maintain poise under pressure, be accurate & punctual
  • Liaise effectively with HQ in a constructed manner to provide info & to receive feedback, guidelines
  • Be able to adjust quickly, take the initiative when & where necessary
  • Be focused on extensive, documented suppliers’ research (reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency)
  • Be able to handle quotes, negotiate prices, contracts, payment terms, delivery at a senior level
  • Prepare comparisons and presentations, as per the above
  • Maintain detailed and analytical records of transactions, purchase orders payment terms etc    

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in business administration, economics, or a related procurement field
  • Previous experience in a similar role in Purchasing (supervisory role)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word
