Front Office Receptionist

Responsible to provide customer focused service to the guests, ensuring their stay will become an unforgettable experience.

Qualifications

As a Front Office Receptionist, you will:

  • Handle all Front Office Procedures like check-in, rooming, check-out
  • Answer and handle any queries for reservations
  • Handle all IT systems of the hotel – PMS, Booking Engine, Channel Manager
  • Maintain working relationships and communication with all the departments and Department Heads
  • Work closely with Housekeeping Team and verify that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated
  • Inspect rooms cleanliness prior to guest's arrival
  • Interact daily with all the guests and make sure that all guest requests are acknowledged and handled in a timely manner
  • Resolve guest problems quickly and efficiently and communicate instantly any issues, guests requests
  • Follow up any Guests requests, complaints, and defects daily
  • Assist guests with any request and try to upsell – promote the hotel’s services and to create memorable experiences for every guest
  • Check cashiers in and out and verify bank deposit at the end of each shift
  • Ensure high standards of guest satisfaction
  • Make sure that all guest profiles are updated with all needed information
  • Ensure their stay becomes an unforgettable experience
  • Coordinate reception activities and delegate tasks to respective departments according to check-in /check-out and in-house lists
  • Report to Operations Manager

Essential requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position
  • Excellent command of both English and Greek language is essential. Knowledge of Turkish language will be considered as an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer oriented
  • Knowledge of Galaxy PMS systems, Channel Manager
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Patience and respect
  • Ability to perform under pressure
