Εποχιακός/ήLiostasi, a member of Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) is looking for a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team. This role is vital in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that our boutique hotel is known for.
About the Role:
The Housekeeping Manager will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all rooms and public areas are impeccably maintained. This position also involves managing laundry operations, staff scheduling, and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff, including maids and evening turn-down service.
- Quality Control: Regularly inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and report maintenance issues.
- Laundry Management: Oversee in-house laundry operations, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Inventory Management: Manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and linens, and coordinate with vendors for replenishment.
- Guest Interaction: Address guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
- Reporting: Keep records and provide reports on housekeeping activities to hotel management.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma; further training in hospitality or housekeeping is a plus.
- Experience: At least 2 years of housekeeping experience, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Characteristics: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
