Εποχιακός/ήThe SandBlu Luxury Resort project is a contemporary resort envisioned as a modern Cycladic village, with common areas organically dispersed along a sprawling 30+ acres plot, nestled in the serenity of ancient Thyra foothills.
The SandBlu Luxury Resort is hiring Sous Chefs
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and refining all food menus to meet the resort's standards of excellence.
- Ensure the production of high-quality dishes that excel in both presentation and taste.
- Supervise kitchen operations to maintain efficiency and uphold quality standards, ensuring timely service.
- Step in for the Executive Chef as needed to oversee food preparation and direction.
- Proactively address and resolve any kitchen-related issues, demonstrating effective problem-solving skills.
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff, establishing work schedules and evaluating performance.
- Manage inventory and place orders for supplies to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor when interacting with staff and guests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Science or a related field, or equivalent certification from a culinary institution.
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a supervisory role within a kitchen environment.
- Proven track record of effective kitchen and staff management.
- Excellent command of Greek and English.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
