is currently seeking to recruit for a managed hotel in MYKONOS, professionals for the position of
Head Chef kitchen - MYKONOS
(CODE: CHF - MYK )
Responsible to deliver customer focused service to the guests, provide all aspects of food preparation,
cooking and presenting of dishes according to company guidelines and maintain HACCP procedures.
Qualifications
Previous work experience in similar position, of at least 5 years in a Hotel Resort or high standards Restaurant
Degree in Hospitality / Institute of Culinary Arts
Good command of both English and Greek language is essential
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, with pleasant personality
Work under pressure
Strong sense of responsibility
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Organizes and supervises food preparation in line with the occupancy and consumption forecasts
Maintains purchasing, receiving and food storage standards
EFET Certificate
Responsibilities
Perform recipes and gather all necessary ingredients
Cook food in a timely manner & ensure appealing plate presentation
Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
Supervise kitchen staff and assist as needed
Monitor food stock and place orders
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
Ensure excellent response to guests needs
Attention to detail and quality of foods
