We are seeking a self-driven, innovative, and highly motivated Senior Data Software Engineer to join our development team. This role is integral to building best-in-class software solutions and delivering seamless, high-quality experiences for our clients.
We are a San Francisco–headquartered cloud software company, with offices in New York and Athens, focused on serving the high-end furniture, lighting, textile, and interior design industries across both commercial and residential markets.
About the Role
As a Senior Data Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing scalable backend systems and data-driven applications. You will work on complex distributed systems and contribute to the architecture and performance of our platform.
This is a full-time position based in San Francisco, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend architecture for cloud-based applications
- Build and maintain large-scale distributed systems in a high-performance environment
- Develop data pipelines, analytics features, and monitoring systems
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across engineering and product
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance system performance and team efficiency
- Contribute to the evolution of our data infrastructure and platform capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a data or software engineering role (more for senior-level consideration)
- Strong proficiency in Java, C++, or Go
- Experience working with distributed systems
- Familiarity with technologies such as Kafka, Cassandra, ZooKeeper, or Dropwizard
- Strong understanding of NoSQL databases and RESTful APIs
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
