Job Description

Syngenta Hellas is looking for a junior level Mechanical Engineer, to follow up, maintain and improve the operational condition, as well as the safe use of both productive and auxiliary engineering equipment.

Accountabilities

• Maintenance (preventative/breakdown) of electrical & mechanical elements of productive equipment and general engineering installations (el.panels and cirquits, lighting, compressed air network, material hoists, etc).
• Responsible for maximizing the availability and productivity of F&P equipment at the Enofyta FPP site.
• Ensure and maintain the safe and proper condition of engineering installations and equipment according to standards, COPs and national/European legislation.
• Seek and implement productivity improvements for the F&P equipment of the site.
• Follow up and sustain the necessary stock of spare parts for both productive and general engineering installations.
• Installation and startup of general engineering installations and F&P equipment.
• Use of the appropriate PPEs and engineering tools as well as follow the required safety precautions according the nature of each engineering tasks as well as to the internal safety procedures and COPs.
• Assist to the maintenance of general electrical installations (up to 380V) of the Enofyta FPP site if required.

Qualifications

• Graduate Mechanical Engineer
• Experience of 0-2 years
• Fluency in Greek and English language
• Good PC skills (e.g. Windows, Microsoft Office)
• Ability to plan tasks and achieve goals
• Ability to program and prioritize work with very little supervision from the line manager, so as to achieve maximum performance and availability of engineering equipment and installations
• Ability to work with high flexibility under pressure and with limited resources.
• Strong communication skills in a cross functional environment
• The job requires the holder to have wide knowledge and skills in engineering maintenance, both mechanical and electrical.

Work in 2 shifts (07:30-15:30 and 15:00-23:00) and 5 days/week
