Role Overview

As an IT Support Specialist, you will maintain and enhance our IT systems—including servers, networks, cloud services, and virtual environments—while providing hands-on support and system stability to meet operational demands.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support (Helpdesk) to users via phone and email
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, software, peripherals, and networks
  • Install and configure new hardware (PCs, printers, network devices) and software
  • Manage user permissions, software installations, updates, and system backups
  • Record, track, and follow up on support requests
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager on complex problem resolution and IT initiatives
  • Deliver basic training to users on systems and applications
  • Maintain and update IT documentation
  • Participate in IT projects (network upgrades, system rollouts, infrastructure improvements)
  • Assist in managing the inventory of hardware and software assets
  • Support onboarding of new employees (account setup, permissions, email configuration)

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, and commonly used applications (Microsoft 365, Teams)
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 / Office 365 tenants
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Good understanding of networks and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, VPN)
  • Basic SQL database administration skills
  • Familiarity with data security and backup solutions
  • Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with automation tools such as n8n and Zapier will be highly appreciated
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies will be considered a significant asset
