The Greek-owned Group of companies STELMA T.S.A. which is based at Thessaloniki, is looking for a Technician for a permanent work in a project at the largest newbuilding cruise & military vessel shipyard in France.

The Technician will be a member of the quality department and will be occupied on long-term projects.

Duties:

• Perform the duties of a Quality Control Technician (Perform visual inspections that can involve the use of equipment)
• Perform duties as assigned by the Site manager / shipyard representative
• Visit worksites, QA/QC checks on work in progress
• Perform blast and coating inspections as needed
• Deliver paperwork and complete forms/reports as required
• Establish priorities to meet deadlines(inspections)
• Meet productivity goals and quality standards
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications

• This position requires working in areas with the following characteristics: Ability move through restricted openings, confined spaces and man holes, crouching (lowering height by bending knees) and kneeling for long period of time in some cases.
