Gym equipment Technician for TechnoGym

Brief Description

Junior level technician who will be performing installations, repairs, and maintenance on Technogym Equipment, making sure to provide high quality after-sales services in the field. He will also be responsible for diagnosing failures/damages and be able to identify the spare parts needed for repairs. He will also act as the first point of contact for customers facing problems related to either operational, or digital features of the equipment and manage to provide solution through troubleshooting.

Key Roles Responsibilities

 Technical support role:                                                                                                                                                                                      

• Diagnose errors and technical problems and determine an appropriate solution
• Troubleshoot, report, and perform all necessary service-related tasks as needed
• Perform installations, repairs, maintenance services on Technogym products.
• Develop a working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedures of Technogym
• Accurately report service data
• Ensure all work-related equipment and vehicles are utilized and maintained in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring all work-related tasks are performed in compliance with Technogym guidelines and appropriate Health & Safety legislation.

• Educates customers in the technical use and care of Technogym equipment
• Provide customer contact for all post-installation problems

Jobs Requirements / Technical and soft skills

• 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Degree from a technical Institute/ School
• Mechanical / electronic engineering skills
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
• Knowledge and ability to work with mobile tools and applications
• Good use of English language both verbal and written
• Extensive knowledge for troubleshooting routers, switches, LAN, and WiFi network configurations would be a strong plus.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

• Ability to travel. Own driver’s license
• Desire to constantly develop his/her knowledge and expertise in Technogym equipment through our educational process, by participating in webinars, seminars held regularly by HQ and via our e-learning platform.
