Within this framework, we are looking for a dynamic and agile “Chief of Staff to CCO”.

The role:

The Chief of Staff to the CCO plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the CCO’s office. This role involves strategic planning, project management and operational oversight to support the CCO in executing commercial strategy and initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor and key liaison, ensuring alignment across the commercial teams and facilitating communication between the CCO’s office and other company domains.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Assist the CCO in developing and implementing commercial strategies to meet company goals
  • Coordinate and monitor the progress of strategic initiatives and projects and ensure alignment with commercial objectives
  • Analyze market trends and provide insights to support decision-making

 

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the CCO’s office, ensuring priorities are managed effectively
  • Develop, maintain and prepare key performance indicators (KPIs) to track all commercial activities
  • Identify and mitigate risks impacting execution of commercial strategy
  • Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency

 

Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis for potential projects and investments
  • Evaluate business performance metrics and recommend actions for improvement
  • Utilize advanced statistical and quantitative methods to solve complex business problems
  • Design and implement data collection systems and strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
  • Draft financial statements, projections, and sales targets, and create comprehensive reports
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

 

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the development and management of budgets
  • Participate in forecasting activities to predict future financial performance
  • Ensure accuracy and alignment of financial forecasts with business objectives

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CCO
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor their progress to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Communicate project updates and outcomes to all relevant stakeholders

Communication and Coordination:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the CCO and internal/external stakeholders
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and briefing materials for executive meetings
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams
  • Act as a sounding board for the CCO on strategic and operational matters
  • Provide recommendations based on data analysis and industry best practices
  • Support the CCO in preparing for meetings, including research and documentation
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
  • An MBA will be an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a mid-tier manager in a related field
  • Previous experience in an Accounting, Audit, or Consulting firm is highly desirable
  • A solid track record in the detailed design and enforcement of operational processes

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written
