Qualimetrix S.A. is a third-party Contract Laboratory Organization, established in 2013 and located in Athens, that provides analytical services to the pharmaceutical industry.
QualiMetrix is focused on supporting pharmaceutical products throughout their whole lifecycle; from the development of the product to the manufacturing and post marketing stages. Services range from routine to highly complex projects; with full support given to the regulatory requirements and research challenges; and operations consistently taking place in an environment of Good Laboratory (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). In the frame of its activities, Qualimetrix S.A. is recruiting a Materials Management Officer for the Materials Management Department, based in the company’s premises in Agia Paraskevi, Athens, Greece.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitors and maintains the main chemical and microbiological laboratory’s resources’ stock, i.e. reagents, consumables, reference standards.
- Monitors the laboratory’s equipment qualification schedule and timely plans and coordinates the qualification activities (in-house and the ones conducted by external contractors).
- Responsible for the processing of the incoming samples for analysis by the department (i.e. registration in the relevant inventories and the company’s ERP system, coordination of outsourcing analyses etc.)
- Communicates with the clients regarding administrative issues relevant to the laboratory’s analytical projects (e.g. quantity of sample received, quantities of consumables requested etc.)
- Responsible for the procurement activities regarding all laboratory materials.
- Contributes to the evaluation of the readiness of a project (i.e. review of the required materials, samples availability, ordering of the missing items etc.).
- Contributes to suppliers’ evaluation.
Education requirements
- Degree in Medical / Chemical Laboratories Assistance or related field from Technological Education Institute (T.E.I. or I.E.K.)
- Independent User/ Very Good knowledge of the English language (CEFR Level B2)
- Very Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP applications (preferable).
