The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Geologist UG / Γεωλόγος Υπογείων”, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Senior Geologist UG of the Technical Services department in Skouries.
Main Responsibilities:
- Daily underground ore control and reporting.
- Underground geological and geotechnical mapping and data collection.
- Supervision of drilling activities, including diamond drilling programs (infill, geotechnical, hydrological, utility).
- Geological and geotechnical data extraction from core logging, mapping, and sampling to support payable ore production.
- Analysis and interpretation of geological data to support short-term mine production planning.
- Supervision of ore zone mining to maximize recovery and minimize dilution.
- Execution of ore grade control, ore type classification, and material tracking.
- Maintenance of face maps, grade reports, and updating geological interpretations.
- Daily drilling productivity reporting, ore tracking, and stockpile management for metallurgical blending.
- Development and maintenance of geological and geotechnical models.
- Use of specialized mining software for mine design, modelling, mapping, and monitoring.
- Liaison with mining and operations personnel on grade control and ore production protocols.
- Preparation of technical memos, maps, reports, and recommendations
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Geology.
- M.Sc. in Geology will be considered an asset.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Geologist in a mining environment.
- Experience in ore control, statistical analysis, and use of mining software including 3D modelling.
- Strong computer skills with experience in geological software (e.g. Leapfrog) or related mine design software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
