Responsibilities:

• Assists in the implementation of the relevant Directives, Regulations and Protocols for the monitoring and reporting of emissions (ETS 1 and 2)
• Participates in the implementation of the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Protocol (GHG Protocol and Scopes 1, 2 and 3), as well as the international standards ISO 14064 and ISO 14067 for the measurement, monitoring, quantification and verification of emissions
• Contributes to the implementation of relevant sustainability reporting standards (e.g., GRI, ESRS), initiatives (CDP, SBTi) and climate risk and finance disclosure frameworks (TCFD, EU Taxonomy)
• Is involved in identifying footprint reduction processes and in developing carbon offsetting mechanisms

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a University in Sciences or Diploma in Engineering
• Master’s degree in Climate Change, Energy Management or Sustainable Development will be considered an additional qualification
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in monitoring and reporting emissions from industrial installations and project/product life cycles, analyzing and assessing climate data and risks and managing projects and studies aimed at reducing emissions, adaptation and resilience to Climate Change
• Experience in the Energy sector (operator or consultant) will be considered an additional qualification
• Professional license where required
• Knowledge of advanced tools for analyzing, visualizing and reporting complex data (e.g. MS Power BI) will be considered an additional qualification
• Excellent knowledge of the English language 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet
• Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
• Availability for urgent geographical relocations
