About the role 

We are looking to hire an experienced IT Officer to join our team with the main responsibility to 
provide support, advice and assistance on all IT matters and act as the Information Security 
Officer of the Company. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the IT Policies and the Cyber Security Policy within the Company 
premises as well as onboard the managed ships and ensures compliance with information 
security strategies.
• Daily monitoring of office/fleet IT solutions and ensures smooth operation of office/ship 
communications infrastructure.
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any threats/risks.
• Arrange IT and Cyber security training for all sea and shore staff, as required.
• Contribute to the innovation of new technology to ensure best practices and new 
possibilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Computer Engineering Diploma or relevant Computer Science degree.
• 3+ years’ experience working with computer networks, network administration and 
installation.
• Expertise in data center management and data governance.
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer 
hardware/software.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and attention to detail skills.
• Fluency in Greek and English.
