Biotechnology is transforming healthcare, and DEMO is at the forefront with cutting-edge research and innovation. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a high-caliber DSP Senior Scientist to join our team.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Plan and execute downstream process development projects, including chromatography and filtration strategies.
• Design, plan, and perform experiments to identify Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) and their impact on Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs).
• Apply advanced statistical and experimental design methodologies (e.g., DoE) to optimize process performance.
• Conduct process characterization studies, such as viral clearance, resin reuse, and process limit evaluations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale processes from lab to pilot and commercial scale.
• Author and review technical documentation, including development reports, protocols, and support regulatory submissions.
• Provide technical support during technology transfer and scale-up.
• Stay at the forefront of innovation by monitoring industry trends and integrating novel technologies into our workflows.

• PhD or MSc in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field.
•  5+ years of hands-on experience in downstream process development within the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Expertise in chromatography, filtration, and process characterization techniques.
• Strong grasp of DoE principles and statistical analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab).
• Experience with GMP environments, regulatory expectations, and tech transfer.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for data-driven decision-making and a team player.
