Demo SA, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in injectable facilities, is currently seeking a Laboratory Assistant. This position will be based in Athens (Kryoneri).

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Perform Buffer and Reagent Preparation
• Monitor and control inventory levels of supplies and materials needed for the operation of the laboratory. This includes the ordering of all laboratory items.
• Ensure laboratory waste is disposed of correctly.
• Management of inventory.
• Sample Management and organization.
• Follow methodologies in carrying routine tasks.
• Document all activities, record results and insert/retrieve data.

• Experience, skills and qualifications required:
• Bachelor or IEK Degree in laboratory related field
• Ideally 1-2 years’ work experience in a laboratory of a pharmaceutical organization.
• An administrative background working within the pharmaceutical industry or experience organizing a laboratory would be advantageous.
• Attention to detail and methodical.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Fluent in English.
