At Demo SA, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in injectable facilities, we are looking for a high-skilled R&D Analytical Development Supervisor. The purpose of the role is the design and development of generic drug products in accordance with GMP requirements and company policies. This position is based in Thessaloniki.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize and qualify analytical methodologies
• Prepare technical reports, summaries and protocols
• Comply with all applicable SOPs, GLP, GMP, housekeeping and safety regulations.
• Provide scientific and technical leadership in analytical method development
• Monitor troubleshooting of technical and scientific issues and ensure that developed methods are fit for purpose.
• Document critical observations pertaining to analytical testing in support of product development
• Follow good laboratory practices (GLP) and SOPs maintaining thorough, complete, accurate and timely record of laboratory data.
• Participate in data reviews and OOS investigations, help identify root cause and offer appropriate action plans.
• Drive continuous improvements and team efficiency
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet departmental and company objectives.

• Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or relevant field, followed by post graduate studies (MSc / PhD) in Chemistry, Pharmacy or relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Development, plus 2 years in leading an analytical development team
• Working experience in method development and validation of common pharmaceutical analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV, LC/MS and GC/MS.
• Experience in leading & guiding a team will be considered as an asset
• Previous Experience in statistical software
• Fluent in Greek & English
• Computer literacy
• Strong problem solving and ability to work independently
• Project management skills with focus on study deliverables, quality and timelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
