Amvyx S.A., the leading importer and distributor of alcoholic beverages & wines in Greece, is seeking to recruit for its Sales Department a:
Corporate Sales Supervisor
The Corporate Sales Supervisor reports to the Sales Director and will be a member of the Amvyx Sales team.
The right candidate will be responsible for the presentation & promotion of AMVYX brands to private or public sector companies with tailored proposals that suit individual company needs and occasions.
He/she will also be responsible for:
- Identifying within companies in the Greek market the persons to contact and decision makers, in order to develop strong relationships with an aim to maximize sales, cross-sales and up-sales of products from the AMVYX portfolio of spirits and wines.
- Leveraging points of contact and building a client network.
- Gaining a deep understanding of the purchasing needs of companies for various occasions (gifting occasions, employment anniversaries, corporate events, PR events, etc) and managing relationships with prospective clients.
- Cooperating internally with the various Amvyx Departments in order to acquire a deep knowledge of the products, promoting and selling them with a high degree of expertise.
- Cooperating with Amvyx Sales & PR Departments, as well as Brand Owner teams, to design and execute prestigious, tailor-made client experiences such as private tastings, dining events, winery visits and other forms of engagement to drive sales, affinity and repeat purchases.
- Managing and ensuring commercial relationships from sale proposal to invoicing, sales, delivery and after-sales follow-up, in collaboration with the relevant departments in AMVYX.
Required education / skills for the position
- University Degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Business Administration etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of English language. Additional languages will be considered as plus.
- Technically savvy, active on social media.
Required skills / experience for the position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge and feel for corporate gift potential, passion for wine & spirits would be beneficial but not mandatory; diversity of backgrounds is welcome
- Must have a sharp understanding of potential company/client profiles, aspirations, lifestyles and motivations in the local market
- Over 6 to 10 years of experience in Sales, experience in corporate or luxury sales will be a plus
- Proven ability to initiate, negotiate and close deals while ensuring the appropriate commercial follow-up
- Entrepreneurial - able to seize and exploit commercial opportunities
- Good team player with ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team; networking, influencing, and communication skills
- Good planning, implementation, presentation and negotiation skills
- Creative and lateral thinking, self-starter and independent
