At BSS Consulting, Executive Search Unit, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager on behalf of a Greek industrial company with over 45 years of experience in the design and production of plastic packaging solutions.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s commercial strategy, managing and expanding B2B customer relationships, and identifying growth opportunities in new markets. The role aims to drive revenue growth, build strategic partnerships, and drive the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and implement the company’s commercial and sales strategy
- Identify new business opportunities in Greece and international markets
- Develop new customers within the following sectors:
- Food, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics industries
- Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts
Key Account Management
- Manage and develop relationships with key clients
- Understand customer needs and propose suitable packaging solutions
- Monitor customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships
Commercial Performance
- Achieve and exceed sales targets
- Monitor sales KPIs and report performance to senior management
- Manage sales forecasting and pipeline tracking
Market Intelligence
- Monitor trends in the packaging industry
- Conduct competitor analysis
- Participate in trade fairs and industry events
Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- A postgraduate degree will be considered an asset
Experience
- 8–10+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in one of the following sectors:
- Packaging, Plastics, FMCG suppliers, Industrial manufacturing
Skills
- Strong commercial and strategic mindset
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Experience in key account management
- Good command of English
- Experience with CRM systems
- Experience in export sales
