Role - Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role as a Business Development Manager located in Athens and will be responsible for communication with suppliers and customers, sales operations,  growth and development.

• Create and develop new business in the Greek market, by identifying and bringing new opportunities in line with business growth strategies.
• Manage, develop and understand the needs of a growing customer base, making regular visits to these accounts and building, maintaining and managing relationships with key contacts at all levels.
• Maintain, develop and manage a relationship network with Principals
• Gather, analyse, interpret and present market, product, competitor and industry data to enable development of the forward strategy of the business
• Negotiating prices and volumes with customers in order to maximize returns to the business
• Visit and represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions and conferences   

   Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering / Agronomist or related subject. Holding MSc Degree will be considered and asset.
• Experience at least 1-2 years in Chemicals Raw Materials in the Home Care Industry/ Food Industry
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with people at all levels

• Knowledge and networks within country area industry

• Ability to work as a team player and business passionate character
• Strong presentation and executive presence skills
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office  
• Strong oral/written communication skills in English
• Ability to travel
