TRADE MARKETING SPECIALIST
Who will report to the Trade Marketing Manager and will be responsible for the following:
i) Trade Development:
- Regarding the relevant products and channels, contributes to the achievement of business objectives in cooperation with other departments by ensuring the correct determination of the marketing mix by geographical area, distribution channel and brand and providing timely, effective and efficient sales support services,
- Participate in the definition of product and channel plans, particularly with regard to the sales and promotion policy by region, channel and customer, managing and allocating Trade Marketing budgets and facilitating the follow-up and measurement of results,
- Be an active part of the sales forecasting and Planning Meeting process, sharing Sales forecasts at the Forecast Meeting and participating in the identification of possible solutions to specific production issues related to inventory management, etc.,
- Perform analysis of IRI data and distribution data and perform ad hoc analysis for special projects,
- Adapt trade marketing activities in online marketplaces and retailer websites,
- Bring digital technical expertise to boost data-driven promotions,
- Integrate e-commerce data analytics into trade activities performance evaluation.
ii) Sales Plans:
Carry out activities to support the sales force:
- Develop tools such as planslips, summaries, salesfolders, etc.
- Perform targeted shadowing, collecting the requirements from the field and translating them into proposals and actions.
- Develop the category plan for products and channels within their area of responsibility.
- Coordinate merchandising activities.
- Provide a continuous interface with the sales force in order to respond to any issues related to product availability and commercial conditions in a timely and optimal manner.
Necessary qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a comparable course of study.
- Postgraduate studies will be considered a strong plus.
- Desirable previous experience of 2-3 years of in Trade Marketing/Marketing or Sales, preferably in FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, creative thinker.
- Strategic vision, ability to manage complex and multiple tasks.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Strong communication and influencing skills as well as team work spirit.
- PC literacy, expert handling of Excel and PPT, Suite Plus.
- Digital experience, interest on digital trend and new platforms.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
