TRADE MARKETING MANAGER
Who will report to the Country Manager and will be responsible for the following:
i. Trade Development:
- Provide input and coordination for the objectives of the profit and loss and sales accounts, by category, channel and customer.
- Receive and transmit priorities and strategic & operational guidelines to the sales force for category/channel management:
- Define the distribution plans by channel type and format.
- Define the ideal product assortment per channel type and format.
- Define the in-store promotional strategy.
- Define the ideal shelving approach and translate it into planograms for the sales force, in accordance with Category Management rules.
- Define the correct pricing per channel and establish the relevant follo-up with the sales force.
- Analyze and monitor trade spending.
- Manage and define the annual in-store visibility plans.
- Conduct analysis to evaluate the most efficient and effective promotional tolls in terms of spending.
- Perform analysis to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of Category Management activity.
- Drive competitor benchmarking activities, constantly monitoring the actions of competitors.
- Guide and coordinate the forecasting process.
ii. Sales Plans:
- Prepare sales plans for new initiatives:
- Prepare input for and coordinate objectives for launching new initiatives.
- Prepare a presentation of the area of competence, adjusted for top per customers.
- Develop the necessary in-store materials to support the launch.
- Provide active support to the sales force for peripheral presentations.
- Manage the launch budget, allocating it per channel and per customer.
- Conduct training for the sales force on sales fundamentals and selling propositions.
- Prepare canvass plans for the sale force, defining them per channel and managing and coordinating the relative communication flow.
Necessary qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a comparable course of study.
- Postgraduate studies will be considered a strong plus.
- Desirable previous experience of 4-6 years of in Trade Marketing/Marketing or Sales, preferably in FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, creative thinker.
- Strategic vision, ability to manage complex and multiple tasks.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Strong communication and influencing skills as well as team work spirit.
- PC literacy, expert handling of Excel and PPT, Suite Plus.
- Digital experience, interest on digital trend and new platforms.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
