Business Development Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers, consultants or developers, in coordination with the Branch GM and Sales Manager
  • Conduct regular market visits to identify new opportunities and potential projects
  • Maintain and update a structured CRM database with client and project information
  • Monitor market needs and trends, providing feedback on product requirements and competitors’ activities
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process and review department financial reports to ensure alignment with company goals
  • Follow up on customer feedback and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction
  • Support and coach sales teams through joint client visits, training and performance monitoring
  • Collaborate with the Quality Department to resolve non-conformities and implement corrective actions
  • Supervise credit control activities, sales invoicing and contract collections
  • Contribute to sales offers, contracts and reporting activities
  • Lead and develop team members through continuous training, assessment and succession planning

Required Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the elevator business
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language (both verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of Russian language is considered a plus
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
  • Availability to travel for client visits  
  • Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus
  • Proven ability in problem solving and decision making
  • Strong results orientation and ability to work towards clear objectives
  • Leadership and innovation mindset, promoting new ideas and continuous improvement
  • Effective negotiation skills and strategic thinking
