Main responsibilities
- Develops and implements comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Monitors market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Aligns sales objectives with overall business goals and communicates progress to senior management
- Leads, mentors, and motivates the sales team to deliver exceptional performance
- Analyzes sales performance data and KPIs to identify trends, explain variances, and propose strategies that strengthen sales outcomes
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and distribution partners
- Provides clients with customized solutions and access to a wide range of products from different providers
- Negotiates high-value contracts and ensures long-term partnerships
- Represents the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Ensures all sales activities comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards
- Utilizes CRM and analytics tools to track performance, forecast trends, and optimize processes
- Prepares and presents detailed sales reports and insights to executive leadership
- Μanages sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports for senior management
Requirements
- BSc in Business, Marketing, or related field
- MSc will be considered as an asset
- At least 10 years of experience in sales field
- Experience in the insurance industry is required
- Experience with both non-life and life insurance are required
- Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting processes, and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of CRM systems
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent command of English language, strong written and verbal skills
- Visionary leader with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build relationships and secure agreements
- Strong analytical mindset with strategic vision to identify opportunities and drive growth
