About the role
- Support the implementation of the Category Strategy as defined by the Purchasing Department.
- Manage the procurement of local assortments, including preparation for negotiations with local suppliers on cost prices and commercial terms.
- Coordinate and ensure the correct execution of agreed action plans (pricing policy, stock management, etc.) in collaboration with relevant departments such as Marketing, Sales, and Logistics.
- Act as the main interface with Category Managers to tailor assortments to local market needs and oversee product listings or delistings.
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure the effective rollout of promotional plans, including the management of discontinued stock.
- Provide support to the Category Manager with various back-office and administrative tasks.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a Commercial or Category function is an advantage, though not a prerequisite.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Good understanding of the retail or consumer goods industry and its key drivers.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, international business environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across teams.
- A self-motivated team player with curiosity, flexibility, and a drive to learn and grow.
- Fluency in English and Greek (additional languages are considered an asset).
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet tools.
