The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Assistant Sales Manager | Βοηθός Υπεύθυνου Πωλήσεων”, for its premises in Athens. The position will report to the Director, Sales & Marketing of the Sales and Marketing Department. The role is offered as a Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave (approximately 18 months).
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues.
- Communicate with customer cargo operators and inform them of upcoming shipments, meeting their demands, and preparing related documentation (BL, proforma, provisional and final invoices, etc).
- Handle invoices and shipping documentation.
- Prepare Assay Certificates and execute Assay Exchanges.
- Monitor shipments from start to finish.
- Oversee Letters of Credit.
- Follow up on receivables and Letters of Credit.
- Manage reports related to sales and financial reporting and cash projections.
- Prepare documentation for auditing and SOX controls.
- Create PR/PO’s for paying suppliers related to the sales process.
- Execute the KYC process for every client annually.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mining, or Metallurgy Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting, Sales, or Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and SAP (ERP).
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of Finance, Reporting, Logistics & Export, and Customs Clearance.
- Familiarity with International Trade and Shipping procedures.
- Ability to learn and understand the metals/concentrate market.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service orientation.
- Organizational skills and effective time management.
- Driver’s licence.
