As a Reservations Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests seeking to reserve their experience at our luxurious hotel. Reporting directly to the Reservations Manager, you will ensure that all inquiries are handled with professionalism and care, providing guests with accurate information about rates, availability, and hotel services. You will play a crucial part in shaping the guest journey by assisting them in making reservations that meet their preferences and needs, ensuring a seamless start to their stay. In this pivotal role, you will implement all duties in accordance with Conrad brand standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and excellence in service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming reservations via phone, email, and various booking platforms with precision and professionalism.
- Provide accurate information on room types, rates, and hotel amenities to assist guests in making informed decisions.
- Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations quickly and accurately in our property management system.
- Upsell hotel services and packages to enhance guests' experiences and increase revenue.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues with a positive attitude to ensure maximum satisfaction.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of hotel occupancy, rates, promotions, and events.
- Collaborate with the Front Office team to ensure smooth guest check-in and manage special requests.
- Handle customer billing and payment processing, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Prepare and maintain reports related to daily reservations, cancellations, and revenue.
- Contribute to a positive teamwork environment by communicating effectively with colleagues and management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a reservations role or similar position within the hotel industry.
- Strong knowledge of hotel reservation systems; familiarity with Opera PMS is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional communication skills in Greek and English, both verbal and written; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills.
