A multinational company with a worldwide presence, looks for an Export Sales Support Coordinator for its premises in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Job description

• Helping the sales team to improve their productivity by contacting customers to arrange appointments and ensuring all Sales Representatives have high-quality, up-to-date support material. Also participates actively in the clients farming with purpose to increase the sales volume.
• Handling urgent calls, emails, and messages when sales representatives are unavailable, answering customer queries, informing them of delays, arranging delivery dates.
• Handling orders by phone, email, or mail and checking the orders have the correct prices, discounts, and product numbers.
• Prepare offers according to Salesmen guidance.
• Inputting orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements, and ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure sales, queries, and deliveries are handled efficiently.
• Update received orders on the system to ensure timely processing of orders.
• Follow up to ensure that orders are produced & shipped as per customer requirements.
• Communicate with customers and sales regarding their inquiries for order status, delivery date, customer complaint status.
• Coordinates with the planning department and follows up with the deliveries of orders
• Follow up on collection with customers, then report to Sales Support Team Leader and accountant (Receivables) and Salesmen, to take the corrective action if needed.
• Initiating the construction of the products to be inputted in the IMS and produced, with a close collaboration with the structural designer and the production manager if needed to prepare the most efficient way for production.
• Provide technical support to customers when needed to resolve product performance issues.
• Submit offers to customers that are prepared and finalized by Sales Team Leader.
• Follow up with Sales Support along with Structural designer and Artwork designer to ensure that the samples are delivered to the customers on time and before the production phase starts over.

Required competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Economy
• 5-7 years previous relevant experience in FMCGs
• Excellent sales skills, communications, and negotiations skills
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Ability to work independently, results driven, demonstrating tenacity
• Proficient in English language (written and spoken)
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office
