ICAP Executive Search οn behalf of a well-known and reputable manufacturing company based in Thessaloniki with global export activity, we are seeking a dynamic professional for the following position:
 
Export Area Manager – (Ref. 5916/ESE/ESS/GR)

The Role:

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the existing international client portfolio, aiming to further strengthen the company’s presence in the European Union markets. The role involves close collaboration with importers and wholesalers, as well as monitoring market trends abroad to meet commercial targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing and potential international clients (importers, wholesalers, supermarket chains, distribution networks).
  • Daily communication with partners in EU countries to monitor orders, resolve issues, and support sales growth.
  • Research and identify new markets and clients; participate in the design and implementation of the export plan.
  • Participate in price negotiations, payment terms, and commercial agreements.
  • Monitor deliveries and collaborate closely with logistics and production departments.
  • Participate in international trade fairs or business trips.
  • Track competition and market trends at the European level.

Candidate Profile:
  • At least 3 years of prior experience in the export department of a company.
  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) – very good knowledge of German or another EU language is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and digital tools.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Commercial mindset, flexibility, and ability to work with international clientele.
