Technical Sales & Business Development Manager – Water Solutions


We’re on the lookout for a passionate and results-oriented individual with at least 3 years of sales experience who’s eager to take their career to the next level. While prior technical knowledge isn’t essential, a willingness to learn is. We’ll provide the training and support you need to become an expert in our Water Solutions portfolio.

As our new Technical Sales & Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in expanding Water Solution sales across your assigned region and customer base. You’ll uncover new business opportunities and work closely with our wider sales and customer service teams to drive growth and deliver value to our clients.

Water is vital to the safe and efficient operation of every vessel—from potable water for drinking and hygiene, to technical water for boilers and cooling systems, and recreational water for onboard pools and spas. Ensuring these systems operate reliably and in compliance requires the right treatment solutions—for both the water and the equipment it supports.

What you will work on:

  • Drive and grow profitable sales by building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Identify target clients, execute face-to-face meetings, and lead a best-practice approach to selling
  • Use your technical expertise to lead impactful sales activities, focusing on the most promising opportunities and customers.
  • Keep CRM data current to accurately reflect opportunities and sales progression.
  • Act as a technical leader on water solutions, setting the standard in knowledge and customer-facing expertise.
  • Work with product management to provide performance insights and recommend product improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop impactful sales materials and present WSS products at industry events.
  • Embody a "can-do" attitude, inspiring the sales team to pursue growth and close deals confidently.

What you need to succeed in the role:   

  • 3+ years of sales experience with exposure to the maritime industry being an advantage.
  • Knowledge of marine water treatment is beneficial, but not mandatory.
  • A willingness to learn and develop expertise in this area is key.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences in a multinational environment.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and spoken skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and a team player who thrives in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel
